Really tough to do = we have used ozone machines but now we are just moving away from carpets as much as possible. 

Hire cleaners to get it cleaned up, so you can go in and do the painting.

Most of it will be under, Extra cleaning where the cleaner can mention in details of why and what type of cleaning was done.

I did not clean it then. couple of days ago they came to do maintenance and said there is mycobacteria growth and they want to put a laser cleaner which is 700$.

So far thinking things like:- replacing air filters- testing and replacing batteries in smoke detectors and carbon monoxide alarms- carpet and floor cleaning and/or replacement - assessing for leaks and all working sinks, showers, toilets- wall repairs and painting - appliances are in working order- deep clean- change locks and battery -replace all lightbulbs inside and out- minor repairs- landscaping Anything I am missing?
