Hi @Kenneth Kirkland, When you buy a property, the assets transfer but money like security deposits or reserve funds doesn’t automatically.

If you used that cash as 20% DP funds, that same cash (and same equity) would be worth $800k in PV...not JUST $160k.

Yes you can transfer your old 401k's to a self irected IRA with for example Equity Trust and then buy real estate with those funds.

James, SELLING a property subject to makes no difference as to selling any other way because once the deed is transferred you’re no longer looking at eviction; you’re looking at foreclosure.
