How do I go about finding a financial advisor with real estate experience?

Do my wife and I need a financial advisor (or anything in that realm) this early in our careers?

My point is, I bought a house 3 years before the financial crisis, stayed the course through the crisis, and still came out a winner.

I would say a general range would be $2,500 - $5,000 per year.On the financial planner side, I'd recommend getting a fee only CFP.
