Coming from Massachusetts I am bias but I would say Mass is a great state to own real estate (if its in a good area) as it hsa some of the best schools in the country and has great home appreciation.

If someone’s thinking about investing long-distance, I’d say the key is choosing a market with strong fundamentals and then building a solid local network to support you.
