Week of October 27, 2025The Fed dropped rates again last week — the second cut in a row — and everyone’s asking the same thing: is this the start of a real shift, or just a pause button?

The FED is making moves now, live-time, that will keep mortgage rates UP despite lowering FED Funds rate.

I could take money out, but I would probally just do a streamline refi.Is this the right time to make the changes or should I wait for the goverment to reopen and the Fed to meet again?  

Don't look now but the FED meets tomorrow and is highly anticipated to reduce the FED Funds rate further by .25%Most Mortgage lenders have already priced this adjustment into scenarios which is why mortgage rates hit the lowest point of 2025 last week.
