I actually moved here myself back in 2020 to invest, so I totally get what it’s like to build in a new market.

Over the past few years, I’ve worked with investors to build portfolios of rental and buy-and-flip properties, focusing on both on- and off-market opportunities.I am currently in the process of moving to Ohio and building a new market, which is why I’m new to BiggerPockets.

My goal is to purchase a duplex in a solid A/B neighborhood to operate as a mid-term rental (MTR).I know how important it is to have the right team, so I’d love to connect with investor-friendly real estate agents, property managers, and co-hosts in either market.

But if you asked Why & How questions, and keep asking "why/how" until get to a fact, you'd discover the truth. agent- "Oh, we do open houses to get you home sold fast and for sooo much $" "why do you do it that way?"

Hey Kevin, welcome back to the Ohio investing mindset haha, and yeah South Florida has gotten rough with insurance and cap rates so it totally makes sense you're looking in Columbus/Dayton.

They push you to pay $150 for a ad set up fee so your ads get set up correctly and not suspended specifically and when done all the ads get suspended by google and bing right away.
