Highway 183 will be a mess for awhile.

The only issue is that its tucked against the highway and basically at the end of a commercial street with geographic barriers all around, so theres really no opportunity for any other development ie multifamly etc in that vicinity.

Also with increasing traffic lot of times if I drive I see some properties too far from high way where tenants may not like to rent as it takes like half an hour for them to get on to nearest interstate high way for work

As long as youre surrounded by the 3 H’s (Highways, Hospitals, Hotels) I think STR/MTR is still alive but you have to be creative with the deals.

We’re seeing a lot of applicants with credit scores below 550, some with falsified income, and others with outstanding landlord debt who refuse to resolve it.A few lead sources that have consistently worked wellfor our community include Zillow (most affordable), Apartments.com,and Facebook Marketplace.

Check with your local Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) to see if there are any upcoming developments such as highways, rail lines, or zoning changes that could affect your site.These are the questions I run through my head every time I look at a new opportunity.

Or an old farm house with 20 or 30 acres.Look for road access on multiple sides, close to highway, fiber near by, good schools, ditches you can make ponds, trees, rolling ground for views and walk out basements, etc.Since you’re multi state.
