What is everyone's thought on using a Private lender and where to start looking for a private lender to talk to and see if that would be a good fit for you?  

Not many private investors will do 7% over 30 years fixed.Personally for long term rentals, I've had good success working with local banks or credit unions that could provide purchase + rehab financing.

The speed and flexibility of private lending is huge right now, especially when deals need to close quickly.

Over the last few year, I've been building a small RE fund outside of my day job (I'm a software engineer) and recently have been exploring private lending.
