I have had them simply tell me they had no clue how they got to where they are at.I have had others that lied to spouse and had gambling problems.. come knock on the door after I bought it at the court house steps and the spouse was unaware the house was even in foreclosure and they just lost it.. 3 attempted suicides after buying at courthouse steps one successful  its a very emotional side of the business no doubt.. but nothing has changed from what you are experiencing today and what has been ( at least my experience) over the last 40 years dealing with NODs and court house steps.

And for investor to put up money for this is just financial suicide.. there was guys down in San Antionio doing this preying on non english speakers.. just a sleazy way to try to make a buck nothing to be proud of.I'm terrible at explaining it while trying to relate it to everyone's terminology.

lol it has nothing to do with my post..but in my younger ages, I saw this movie too many times,  Real estate builder / lender committed suicide or they were fleeing to GuangDong province in China to hide after their real estate project gone foreclosure after some interest rate changes (kinda like the same story of our own McAfeee) ......this kind of event from the 1980s has the same final destination lol loleven when I am invested these days I remember these movies..... unfortunatly the GFC caused many a suicide I knew two personally.

I have had 3 suicide attempts one successful ( gun shot to the head but in the backyard). the other two were pills. gun shot was male  pills were wives who never told their husbands they were or did lose the house..I have sat with many doing bail outs and they just could not fathom how they are in this situation but there is an RV and two SUV's in the driveway.
