Looking for team to start BRRRRs in Detroit.

Right from the start, I knew that building a solid team and keeping them motivated was crucial.

I would like to know how to build your team if you plan to self-manage your properties. 

Referrals is often what makes teams that manage from afar best.

Over the past few years, I’ve worked with investors to build portfolios of rental and buy-and-flip properties, focusing on both on- and off-market opportunities.I am currently in the process of moving to Ohio and building a new market, which is why I’m new to BiggerPockets.

To build out a solid team.

For Ohio, I’d definitely recommend taking a look at Columbus—it’s one of the hottest markets in the region with strong population and job growth, tons of major companies moving in like Intel, Amazon, Google, and Honda, and still very affordable entry prices where you can find deals that hit the 1% rule in the $120–180K range.

We're looking primarily in Kingston, as well as places a little north, like Saugerties, Catskill and Hudson.We're looking to build our team.

Take some time to learn which pockets perform best in each city, build a small local team, and you’ll start seeing traction fast.
