So they laded tools and wire in 1 truck and stole the truck and tools .

That’s where the Peter Lik / Monster Cable analogy fits—positioning average returns as premium experiences to people who might not know better.  

But instead of using it to move, the seller stalled, didn’t pack, didn’t rent a truck, and even showed up at the title company with all his stuff still in the house, expecting to close and get paid.

Own 2 trucks no home just rent. 10k in stocks 10k in cash so not much leverage I'd assume.

Historically speaking they lose value really fast, require maintenance like a car or truck, and are not easy to rent to other people.

My truck is a rolling toolbox, with a camper top on the back, and I can often take care of minor issues right on the spot when I make rounds.

We have been going by all the hotels in a 20-mile radius at night, seeing the work trucks and contacting the companies.

I sold firetrucks for 3 years after leaving the fire service where I bought trucks as a Fire Chief.
