@Lynda Cooke the best way to do that would be to buy a multifamily property… a duplex or a triplex or a quad Plex and live in one unit and rent out the other units.If you decide that you don’t like that set up after a year, you can move out and rent all four units and move into your own place.if you decide that you don’t like that set up after a year, you can move out and rent all four units and move into your own place.The advantage of this is that you only have to put 3.5% down with an FHA loan.All the best!
