Serious beginner in Wholesaling, Looking to learn and make progress

Jesus Pena
Posted

Hi, I'm 17 and just starting to learn real estate wholesaling. I'm serious about getting into the business and would really appreciate connecting with someone experienced who can help point me in the right direction. I'm open to JV opportunities or any mentorship to help close my first deal. Any advice is much appreciated

Jesus, your drive at 17 is impressive. The key early on is mastering the basics: learn how to find motivated sellers, analyze deals quickly, and build a solid buyers list. Focus on free tools like PropStream trials, Zillow, and county records to find leads, and use YouTube or podcasts for foundational knowledge.

Start networking daily, online and locally to find potential JV partners. Offer to bring leads or help with follow-up in exchange for learning. Your first deal may take time, but each conversation gets you closer.

Stay consistent, and you'll get there.
