Hello I really want to start in real estate investing and I have some questions. how did you start in Real estate investing or when did you focus on investing, and what are the best books you have read that helped you learn more about REI, and how did you find a mentor that helped you with REI. Thank you

That’s a good set of questions to be asking early on, Robel! I started by picking one simple strategy and just getting into my first deal that taught me way more than all the podcasts and research combined. For learning, a couple books that really shaped my approach were Rich Dad Poor Dad for mindset and Long-Distance Real Estate Investing for the systems side. Mentorship for me didn’t come from one “guru”, but from staying active in investor groups, showing up consistently, and asking questions which relationships just formed and people were willing to guide me.

What part of the investing side are you most curious about right now? financing, deal analysis, or building your team? Happy to keep the conversation going!
