Hello! New Member with a question about Tax Sale Redemption in Indiana

First off, hello, happy to have found this forum. Looking forward to learning a lot!

A friend recommended it to me as we were discussing a question I have.

If someone wants to redeem their property after it has been auctioned at tax sale, do they have to pay the purchaser back for their winning bid?

Or, does the property owner only have to pay back the property taxes owed, and the County would give the purchaser their money back?
