Single Family sale and Tenant obligation
I currently have a tenant whose lease will expire in August but I want to sell the SF and buy multifamily. Can I sell with tenant in it and is there legal implication for selling/ can buyers view while tenant is still there?
Also I lived there for 7yrs and moved out May of 2016. Does the 5yr rule apply so I dont have pay tax on the profit. Im thinking I have till May 2021 to sell. Is that right?
