So, what's the plan? Real estate is an active investment. That requires action, which requires a plan and consistency. Have you thought about how and where to put the flyers?

Some successful investors start out by putting one on every door on the block. Some put them on car windows, some staple them to telephone poles. Some mail them to selected addresses. You could hire the local newspaper boy to leave them on his route.

Thing is, you have to keep it up every week. 

Make sure you have an opening question when someone responds. Something along the line of "do you have an interest in getting an offer for a property?" Some people will have a rental or vacation property they want to sell. 

So, after someone says "yes" what's next?


 Yes, i target neighborhoods by household income level, and age of home. I want to make sure they have additional income, and care about how their property looks. I have a map with streets and dates and # of drops.
