Washington State LLC

Hello Everyone,

I currently have 6 units in Washington State that I would like to transfer to an LLC. I am also in the market for an 8 unit soon in Washington state. I'm looking for recommendations on a Seattle area attorney that can help me get a Washington State LLC structured etc. I welcome advice on the topic as well. My goal is to use this LLC for most or all of my WA properties and then form others in different states that I acquire commercial apartment units. I have also thought about owning these LLCs from a Wyoming LLC for protection.

Careful with the Wyoming LLC. We were not able to open a bank account locally in the LLCs name. Several banks including Bank of America turned us down because it was out of state. You could probably travel to Wyoming to get it open and then come back? There's probably some other work around also but we were on a time crunch....
