benefits of an LLC?

I have 3 homes ,2 rentals and 1 up for sale.No plans to buy another till i sell one. All three together are worth $180,000.

I have been buying R.E.more as a hobby in my spare time, still work outside of R.E.. Would it be wise for me to become an LLC?

what would be the benifits of starting a corporation with 3 homes, as opposed to being an individual who sells a home or 2 every 5 years?
