Looking to start Real Estate investing

Hi, 

I am looking to buy my first rental/investment property in Columbus, OH. I am a resident for over 20 years and work a full time job but looking to build a rental portfolio overtime. I am actively searching for available properties in Zillow, realtor.com etc but it would be great to connect with people already in this field and get some guidance and connect with the right real estate agent. As a first investment, I would prefer a property that doesn't require too much structural work and okay with some cosmetic updates. Interested in Olentangy School District area or  easy to rent areas.
