Direct Mail Marketing

Trent Brodbeck
Posted

Hi everyone,

My wife and I are just starting out in real estate investing. We plan to conduct a direct mail marketing campaign.

We live in the area we are investing currently.

What kind of general templates should we use for direct mail marketing?

I will give you the perspective as someone on the other end/side as we are an investor and we get a lot of direct mail - so I will share with what gets our attention

Be original. I see the same templates from different people and ignore them as they all look the same. You want to stand out compared to others so how do you get that person to like yours compared to the other 5 they are getting.

So how do you be original

1. Put a photo on it - you, your family, make it personal.

2. Don’t just say “we buy houses”. Try and be the answer to their problem. Why did you mail this person. Did they inherit the home, they be older and home needs costly repairs? Tired out of state landlord? Answer the question you want to solve

3. Give them option to call/text or email.
