How do I find a good Real Estate Agent when investing in my first property?

Try to look around for other investors in your area & see what they recommend for you. If you hear one name come up over & over again then I think you've found a good one. A friend told me he does this for everything from RE agents to plumbers.

The key is to ask many people!

maybe drive around the area you would like to purchase in & see what Realtors are doing business there, sold or listed. Look for a common name It's a pretty good chance they know that market - Hope this helps: )

Find an agent that participates on Bigger Pockets and understands investment strategies and how to evaluate properties (run the numbers).
