I have been working on one side of my duplex and living in the other, having two jobs renovating and being a young family man with four kids is a bit of a challenge, don't get me wrong i enjoy challenges but renovations is just a bit to challenging. Are there any funding programs for minor cosmetic repairs but no equity required?

If your credit isn't in terrible shape, take a look at one of the crowdfunding sites: lendingclub.com, prosper.com, sofi.com are some examples. I just had a loan funded on one of these sites and it was fast and painless; I was even able to use photos from my cell phone for the documentation required for the loan.
