Hello all,

Newbie in Maryland and I got a question..... Do I have to have a agent to make an offer on a property?

@Katrina Lane Absolutely not.  As a newbie a buyer's agent might help point out some good and bad things, get you comps, help you through the process, etc.

As an experienced investor the benefit of not using a buyer's agent is possibly gaining the advocacy of the seller's agent, and often quicker access to the property.
