Hey guys,

I was wondering if there is any referrals for lawyers out there that can assist in helping me set up a C Corp in North Carolina. Let me know!

Honestly if you know you want a C corp...go online and do it. Easy, cheap and complete. There are several sites but here is one https://www.incorporate.com/

@Robert Leach I was looking at those online sites. Unfortunately the more known ones like LegalZoom.com and Nolo.com don't support C Corp, just S Corp.

Should I trust the Incorperate.com site to set it up? I know I can certianlly fill in all the blanks,  but my concern is will it hold up in court as well as a professionally prepared document would.

As for the s-corp that is with the IRS Form 2553 and has to be done before the tax year ends if you open mid year. I would still seek some advice or guidance if you have more in-depth questions about c-corps and s-corps.

@Jonathan Rodriguez I appreciate your comment. I was not looking for an S Corp, just the C Corp. But that's what I was looking for, where to find the guidance around North Carolina, specifically Raleigh. (:

NC Div of Corporations forms - https://www.sosnc.gov/corporations/forms.aspx?PIte...

If you need a pro - I recommend Harry Marsh, attorney in Matthews NC).  There is more involved than just filing one form - you will need corporate minutes, apply for a employer tax ID number, and other tasks.
