Utilities... who pays and what's included?

Hi everyone!

I'm on a quest to learn as much as I can in 2017 and buy my first deal by end of year or early 2018 in the ATL area.

I'm running analysis on 2-3 deals a day and I keep getting stuck on utilities. When I was a renter... I still paid my own utilities. Is this not standard any longer? What utilities do I pay as property owner and what utilities should I expect my tenant to pay?

Thanks in advance from a super newbie!

That depends on the lease agreement. Most likely have to get the property under contract in order to get the details on the utilities.
