Hi, i'm an out of country investor and am looking for reliable info to help me pin point the right market to invest in the US.

What are reliable and up to date web sites in which i could get general info on Metros, Cities and Neighborhoods. I liked Neighborhoodscout.com until they recently started charging for their info...

Anybody use niche.com?

Thanks.

@Amit Friedlander -  While doing research like will provide you with some demographic info, you might be better off talking to folks who are working in the area of you are considering. (You are going to get lots of different answers to that and all of them great places to invest!)

Are you planning on doing turnkey properties?  If so I'd suggest researching those and finding out what type of deals each are offering and then finding out from the BP forums who recommends them and uses them now.  Personally, I recommend looking into the Memphis market (but I'm decidedly very biased! :).  We have lots of out of the country investors here.  You could talk with turnkey companies or agents.  All depends on what you are looking to do.  Let me know if I can be of any more help.

Best of luck!!
