VA loan and multi family homes

Hello everyone! So I'm starting to get into investing and house hacking really. My real estate agent and financial manager guy are trying to tell me that I can't get a VA loan for a multifamily home i was just wondering what the opinion of everyone on here is and what my next steps should be? Thank you all for your help!
