New to REI and need a mentor Houston, Tx

I’m Princella living in the Houston, TX market. I just got into REI this month on the 6th. I’ve studied very hard since that day. Knowing absolutely nothing about real estate to at least now being able to hold a conversation and understand terminology. The thing I’m in need of is a mentor to help me navigate. Are there any seasoned investors In the Houston area who’d like to take a motivated driven newbie under their wing?

@Princella Carr - not necessarily REIAs but an assembled group. Either you create or join an existing one. Have you ever read Napolean Hill's book, Think and Grow Rich?
