I understand it is important to obtain record of survey when you purchase properties. But how important ? The land I am considering has never recorded. This made me wonder whether it’s worth to hire surveyor.

Naomi,

If the land has never been recorded it would be a good idea to have a survey done, especially if you plan to build. This will also help if you ever plan to sell in the future.
