Long Island, New York Real Estate Investment Experiences

Hi All,

I will be a new graduate this May 2019; I hope to save the majority of my paychecks while living out home. Being based out of Suffolk County, Long Island I have a few questions for experienced Long Island Investors?

What towns/property types do you have current, or previous investments in?

How do you know a property is worth its asking price (or close to it)?

How do you recommend new investors begin in a rather expensive market?

Do you know of any local events/workshops to network with other real estate investors?

Thanks!

Regards,

Alex

Hey @Alexander Adamo, congratulation on the upcoming graduation. You can likely find much of the info you're seeking with some browsing and continued engagement right here on the BP site under, for example, the tabs for Education, Tools, etc (including the webinar, course, podcast, books, and local REI meet ups in your area). You already have one of the key mindset (save and invest), are already on the BP site, and are willing to ask great questions, so you're off to an excellent start. Hope that helps. Be great!
