What are some thing I can do starting out to better myself I did a lot of reading and need to start taking small actions

I agree with @Cara Kennedy.  Research local meet ups and start attending and meet people.  You’ll find that once you’ve started connecting with people, your mindset will automatically shift and before you know it, you’re working on deals.
