Milwaukee Buy and Hold Market

Hello All!

I am originally from Milwaukee, currently living just south in Chicago, and hoping to invest in my hometown in the 12-18 months.  Hoping the BP community can assist in finding good places to start as I explore the Milwaukee market.  I am open to any and all insights and willing to make the drive to network, chat, help out in any way I can.  Thanks in advance for any insights/advice you are willing to share!

@Marcus Auerbach thanks for the advice on a quality PM you trust.  I will be reaching out to them as I make my way toward a deal.

I am leaning hard toward SF for the reasons you mention above.  I'm in this for the long term and SF feels like a better play in terms of appreciation and my personal time spent.

Although higher cashflow might help expedite the expansion of my portfolio, turnover+repair costs etc in MF seem to eat into that quite a bit.  Thats my rather uninformed, generalized perspective.
