Do I need a realtor?

I'm young and have never owned a property. I think I have a good idea for what investments would be successful but I'm being told from different web sites that I should get a Realtor to help me out. Should I?
Thanks, Tyler

Depends on what you're trying to do. Keep in mind, these are all just my opinion:

Rehabbing = Yes
Buy Rentals = Yes
Wholesaling = No

What's the alternative? You can find FSBO's, or become your own Agent and get a license. Hope the general answer is good so far with the info you provided.
