Fixing up a distressed area
Lately I have tried to educate myself on real estate strategies and where folks invest based on neighborhoods or even cities. I was wondering if anyone has seen where a group of real estate investors have gone in and “cleaned up“ a certain neighborhood by buying properties and requiring a certain expectation on keeping the area up to new standards. I have heard of good investment areas such as Memphis where there are plenty of rentals but might be in less than desireable areas.
Before I say more, I would just like to hear others’ thought.
Thank you
Dustin
