Listing agent responsibilities

I'm new to real estate world and haven't got my license yet (I start classes fairly soon) but I've been doing a lot of research and srudying already. One thing I'm not sure of is ehat exactly a listing agent does. I understand they find a seller and basically convince them to list their house through the agent, but how much is a listing agent involved from this point to the actual sell?

Marketing the property, coordinating photo and video, coordinating prep work, making sure the property appraises, negotiating the home inspection, coordinating repairs, managing the transaction from contract to close.
