Is there a site issue? When I try to put an image in a post it won't load. All I get is a narrow blue bar at the top of the screen that seems to indicate something is happening, but the image never loads.
Having this exact same issue, very frustrating.
Same. Had this happen earlier this week where I couldnt load an image: endless upload in progress blue bar, but never completed.
@Jeff Bridges Thank you! I was beginning to think it was just me. It's still not working . . .
@Sylvia B. , we're getting intermittent reports of this issue, can you share your OS and Browser?
I reported the same problem to Sato & did everything I was advised to do in his PM below but didn't resolve it at all.....
using Safari, cleared all cache etc etc

Please try these steps:
1. Clear the cache, cookies, and history in your browser. Usually, this fixes most browsing problems. Then try to upload your photo again
2. Try other browsers like Chrome, Safari or Firefox
3.The system has a limit on the file size/resolution of the photo. It should not be larger than 640 x 480 pixels. You can use sites like http://resizeimage.net/ to reduce the size of your photos.
@Mindy Jensen A change was recently made and the post an image pop-up box looks different now. I don't know exactly when that change was made (within the last week or two perhaps?), but since then I have not been able to post pictures either. I have tried it from three different computers, running Windows 7 and 10, and using Internet Explorer, FireFox and Google Chrome browsers. Haven't been able to get it to work under any condition. Just FYI.
Gee I hope its not the Russians hacking the site :)
Thanks @Kyle J. I'm sharing this with the developers so they can figure this out.

Windows 10 and Chrome
Also having trouble. Trying to upload a JPEG image that is 640x390 to a new Blog post. Using Win 10 with Chrome, Mozilla, or Edge. Tried both browsing to an image and drag & drop.
If I refresh the page or browse to another section of the site while the blue bar is present, it logs me out and says "Sorry, only BiggerPockets members can do that".

@Pat L., it just so happens we're hiring for Full Stack Ruby on Rails with React Ribbons. Know anyone?
Thanks for the fix...
My days of s/w was in drive control applications & was over when I retired in 1998. The only guy I currently know (my nieces husband) is neck deep in robotic pilot design for helicopters (he actually has a full sized chopper in his company workshop) & I'm convinced he's very familiar with weaponized drones. He has a double masters in Robotics & a Phd in nuclear reactor design, (he spent a number of years in the Navy in nuclear sub design). My niece is a say at home mom academic systems designer (masters in math & comp sci) for a company out of DC. She works from her (husband designed) complete hardware/software development home office.
I am not able to post a photo to a listing ad.
It says it is uploaded, but then tells me I must attached at least one photo.
