I was wondering the location ,date and place of this years summit..Thanks

It doesn't exist yet. We came close to locking in the weekend of April 14 in Denver, but that doesn't look likely right now. The hotel we used last year raised their prices on us by 60% and is unwilling to flex.

Additionally, I've been blown off by other hotels in the area or have just gotten bad deals. What kills me is that when I explained this to our contact at the local visitors bureau - the guys who try to attract businesses to come and do conferences in Denver - they had nothing to say and offered no help in getting us set up.

I tend to believe that when things don't feel right, they may not be.

That said, we're shopping for new locations and as soon as there's news, I'll definitely let you all know. I'll be working the phones all next week, so hopefully we'll have some more progress soon.

Can't wait! I missed the last one due to my military commitments but I definitely can't wait to meet and network with a bunch of you.

Az has great deal and I have a few contacts there so if you need help let me know..How many people came last year...

Josh that is horrible about the Hotels. Hopefully you will have a firm date soon.

How far away is Aspen from Denver Colorado??

I have family coming to GA sometime in the spring and then was looking to take a trip to Alaska to see the Northern lights and world ice sculpting championships. Really want to make the conference this year but need to plan in advance.

Hi Joshua
The above link might help you find one if you are set on CO. If not the scottsdale are has some great deals as well. Keith

Did you kill the Vegas idea Josh?

vegas will work. Great hotel deals as well as discounts for events hosting...

Last March's summit was so good, I'm really anticipating next Spring.

I prefer Denver over Vegas, but I'd go anywhere within a few thousand miles.

How many vendor and how many people reg. and came to the event???

If Vegas is an option, I'd be happy to assist in getting this set up. There are so many options here. Plus, there are no weather constraints for travel.

@Joshua Dorkin - maybe you want to find out from the local visitors bureau when the slow tourist season is, and when the slow convention season is. The slow times are when the hotels are looking to book business, since they will be in need of events then.

If you/we ask enough members, and/or do a poll, I bet there are many "frequent fliers" that go to Vegas, and have racked up some comps.

Maybe that can pool it together to get us a great deal!

Brian

Hi all
I am new to this site but not the real estate world. I am glad to see that my small post has brought out the help sprit in everyone here. I have been to several big events this year (san jose real estate expo, the edge 2012) and I find that the same help is here as well. Great start ...

I look forward to helping members here as well..Keith

I'd love to visit Denver again and Vegas is always great. But I will attend regardless of the location.

sounds neat

I'm voting for Denver!
