Hi was wondering if anybody could help me out here I know the concept of purchasing with the personal name and then transferring to LLC my question is would you have to pay transfer tax on that I'm not sure if this makes a difference but I am talking about in Allentown specifically but is a general question nonetheless.

Thank you

Replied

Pennsylvania has the highest transfer taxes in the country.

Just be mindful if the transaction is subject to transfer taxes.

Best of luck
