Hello all! Just wanted to provide some weekly data for the Houston Area straight from the Houston Association of Realtors:

NEW LISTINGS:
"After rebounding last week, new listings slowed again during Week 38. REALTORS® across Greater Houston entered 2,619 properties into the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) for the week ending September 26 compared to 2,787 during the same period last year. That is a decline of 6.0
percent."

PENDING LISTINGS:
"Pending listings continue to trail 2021 levels by a consistent margin. In Week 38, a total of 2,017 property listings went under contract compared to 2,698 the same week last year. That’s 25.2% fewer than the same week last year"

OFF MARKET LISTINGS:
"Sellers withdrew more property listings from the MLS during Week 38 than during that same week in 2021. Off-market listings were 28.4 percent above the 2021 level. A total of 1,202 homes went from active to off-market compared to 936 last year."

HOME CLOSINGS:
"Closings remained down from last year for a 16th consecutive week. For the week ending September 26, closed sales of homes totaled 1,769 versus 2,122 in 2021. That accounts for a 16.6 percent year-over-year decline."

Hope some of this data helps prospective investors who are looking at the Houston/Galveston market!
