Can I Buy Multifamily Property w/ No Jobs - income

So currently i own 3 properties free and clear (1 being my home residence )  Im unemployed but have funds to put a down payment on a multifamily   Can I qualify for a loan?  Thanks in advance

You can get a DSCR (debt service coverage ratio) loan that will use the rents on the property vs the mortgage payment to qualify and ignore your personal income situation. You won't be able to move into it like a house hack but it will work for an investment property.

You can also do a "stated income" loan. It'll be a higher down payment and interest rate, but you won't need to provide proof of income. However, I will ask, since you own 3 properties free and clear, 2 of which aren't your primary residence, do you have rental income coming from these? I would assume cash flow would be significant from two properties that you own outright. You could probably use that income to qualify for a mortgage.

One of the properties is a flip but hasn’t sold yet. The other is a 2 bed and a 1 bed    The 1 bed studio is the only unit being rented at the moment

You should be able to find a lender for an investment property but you might have to put down 30-50% however PM me and I have a contact for you to explore financing with.

dscr loans all the way. as long as you have the dough and its income producing you can get a mortgage on it!
