FHA loan vs Portfolio loan for potential buyer-multiple offers

I have two offers. Both offers are within $1,000, but the Portfolio loan sounds like the safest one to accept vs an FHA loan because they don't require two appraisals, they don't require PMI, and they don't require title insurance. I spoke to the bank and they said their appraisals are not as strict as FHA.

I am going with the Portfolio buyers instead of the FHA buyers. Am I wrong for doing so? Let me know if I'm an idiot :-)

Thanks.
