How to time the Market just right!!

Since people are irrational on both ends on the spectrum, is there any way to time when you buy a house and when it will be sold?  I guess the variables differ per home so it's impossible.  What if there was a way!!  Who out there is holding the key, that joker card?  We want details!!!

It's fairly simple, actually.  When everyone is saying that it's a really bad idea to buy a house, that's the time to buy.  When everyone and their brother is saying that they've got to buy right now before they get priced out of the market and the euphoria of appreciation is running rampant, it's time to sell.
