When buying in Florida from out of State, living in Oregon

Hi, I'm looking at a property in Florida and living in Oregon I was wondering, can my RA in Oregon handle my purchase? Do I need a RA in Florida?  What other problems should I be aware of when buying out of state?

@Ryan Nicolai - Welcome to BP. I lived in Beaverton, OR years ago!

No, you will need a real estate agent that's licensed in the State that you need to purchase the property, which in this case is FL.

Additionally, you need to think of contracting a property manage to take care of it on your behalf.

You will need to pick an area within FL that you would like to focus on for your purchase.
