Infared Imaging for Home Inspection?

I'm a first time investor living in Las Vegas looking at acquiring a rental home in Dayton OH for around 25k.  I am looking to order a home inspection and came across an inspector that offers infared thermal imaging as part of his home inspection.  I don't believe I had this done on my home inspection for my owner occupied home, (maybe this is because vegas is always 100+ degrees so the image would be so hot!) is this type of feature standard with home inspections?  Does it provide value?  Just looking to keep learning!

Thanks

Jon

If it doesn't cost extra I would do it. But is not necessary especially for a rental.
