Realtor fee jeopardizing negotiation?

I'm looking at buying my first SFH rental property. I have purchased and sold homes with a realtor before but have a new one I'm using as my old one moved away. I found a home I want to buy so I asked my realtor if she could get any information about the current renter Payment history and the existing lease. My realtor came back and said the sellers agent was very short with her and "yelled" at her through email. And said we could ask for that info through a contingency on the offer. After a few messages back and forth she unveiled that the sellers agent was most upset that she asked to change the realtor fee from 2% to 3%. I'm hoping you all can help me understand if I should be concerned. It feels a little to me like she is jeopardizing my ability to get the house in the negotiation... thoughts?

She is not supposed to ask the listing agent or seller for a higher commission. If the number does not hit her minimum, she is supposed to ask her client, you, to make up the difference.
