I am currently buying in the Albany area and I was wondering if there is any other areas specifically that people are investing at.
All the best.
@Moshe Bloorian I would say two of of the other areas people invest in are Troy and Colonie. There are certainly opportunities in areas like Watervliet, Menands, and Schenectady as well. Troy is another city like Albany so the rental market is usually pretty strong and Colonie is great suburban area which bodes well for flipping at higher exit prices.
Hey @Moshe Bloorian and @Nate Monson . My brokerage has a landlord client who is looking to sell 12 units in Albany near the College of St. Rose and another 7 units (one commercial) in Delmar, NY. These buildings are not yet on the MLS.
The Delmar properties have to be sold as a package. The Albany properties can be sold separately — there are four duplexes, one tri-plex, and a single family in the Albany group. Please PM me if either of you has any interest. Thanks.
Vey interested in the Albany units. Email [email protected]
Albany is a great area. Check out my profile and let me know if I can assist.
