Recently, many websites in Great Toronto Area comes up with all sorts of real estate information like bungol.ca one of them, trying to enable people to study and find their property by self-studying , not going through real estate agent, do you really y think is feasible?

I would highly recommend someone (realtor, lawyer, title company) who thoroughly understands the buying process to help you through it. Even if you have to pay them, it is invaluable to make sure you understand what you're signing, when deadlines are, what you need to do before closing, etc etc etc. Can you learn it and do it on your own, sure! But i'd be willing to bet that you'll miss something along the way that will either cost you money, give the seller a leg-up on negotiations, or cost you the deal.

Sounds like something out of Beavis & Butthead episode...

Find a better agent. Don't sign or make a commitment until you feel that they are taking care of your best interests.. There are a lot of agents out their that is out for a commission and that is it.. But I have to say they have to be pushy sometimes if it is a sellers market where you want to buy.. For example the condo market under $500k is super hot in GTA. If you are looking at that then that may be the reason why they are pushy because they sell quick..

the reason for this idea is that the agent usually very pushing, kind of want to do some research and even want to do it by myself.
