Rehab Vs Fixing and Flipping

Many has asked me for the difference between Rehabbing a property and Fixing and Flipping.. I have explained that Rehabbing a home might means to keep it for a potential rent. While Fixing and Flipping is minor fixing and instant profits. Do you guys have a different definition?
