Hi!  I am looking to invest in the Birmingham area. Has anyone had success with any lenders willing to finance section 8 properties?  I am running into an issue finding a local bank. 

@Cliff C. have you checked with Iberia Bank? Is it Residential or commercial? I can you refer you if you’d like.

I am wondering if any one have any updates on Alabama market during the covid ?

The market in the Huntsville/Madison County area is Hot!  There’s many turnkey properties available for under $100,00.

Huntsville has a strong rental market along with college students, Govt. workers, and many of the public housing developments undergoing rehabs, renters are abundant.

I’m a Realtor and investor, I purchase at least 1 property per year.  The fall and winter months seem to have better deals and  less buyers. If your looking for more information I’d be happy to help.
